Things I saw today
A man ran over a seagull, got out of his car, picked up the seemingly dead bird and placed it on the footpath..
Another man stopped shortly afterwards, got out of his car, picked the seagull back up - it was showing signs of life by this stage, put it in his car and drove off..
A further man, this one drunk or stoned out of his mind, spent ten minutes wandering around aimlessly amongst the traffic, experiencing a couple of close calls with buses and trucks and numerous taxis.. Eventually a taxi driver took pity on him and let him in..
Smoke breaks eh? Never a dull moment..
